The office building, 139 Quay Street stands on the waterfront as a gateway to the viaduct. Connected to the ocean by location, we wanted to draw on the idea of water as a means of connection, a source of sustenance and a link between the past and the future.

Treated in a bold and modern way, we designed a graphics system inspired by the circular, rhythmic patterns found in the ocean, referencing the everchanging landscape.

Forms are abstracted and repetitive and cyclic moving away from anything too literal. While the colour palette is paired back, creating a sense of calm in what is potentially a very busy setting.
