Cheddar in Avondale, Auckland, aims to become a new staple of the community. 

Run by locals for the community, Cheddar sells no nonsense, simple burgers made with local ingredients. There smashed burgers and fried chicken have quickly become Friday night takeaway staples.

For the shop’s identity we drew inspiration from the hand painted signs seen in the area for years, the local butchers and bakers. We used the visual language of these local spots, teamed with a bold colour palette, to make a brand as hearty as their deluxe chicken burger.
